What Avatara carried
She calls her performance artists Ascenders, "because we are truly here to lift one another up with community," and the set lived the name: a rapper, a singer, a poet, wings and fans, and a floor singing the call back, until the whole company took one bow. The poem she shared with the poet in white landed the teaching. It's real because we trust.
- Bass Church (a dance gathering held as church)
- DJ set with live performance artists (the Ascenders)
- spoken invitation and prayer between songs
- call-and-response
- spoken-word poetry (shared)
In their own words
“How many of you guys are choosing into trust in this moment? When we move towards our bigger purpose … trust is our number one ally, it's our number one cheerleader, and it's always there to support you on your journey”
“To believe it before you see it. Not the other way around … And the next step along this journey is to give yourself permission.”
“This song is dedicated for those moments when it gets really hard, and yet we choose to dive back in.”
“We call our performance artists our Ascenders, because we are truly here to lift one another up with community … Again, I am Avatara and we are the Ascenders. Take a bow.”
“We don't trust because it's real. It's real because we trust.”

What Avatara is up to in the world
For you, Avatara
Thank you for what you brought to the Love Dimension. This page is our gift back to you: the words you gave us, the films cut from your time on stage, and the frames caught while weaving through it all.
Your full-resolution media package
Being delivered. The masters are too large to live on a web page, so they travel to you directly. Write to us and we will make sure yours arrives.
Use any of it, anywhere. If you share a film or a frame, tag @tyzen.drake.
And if deeper support would serve what you are building, a site that carries your frequency, a film of your work, or Sōul Missiōn Catalyzatiōn, our door is open.
With love, Tyzen
