Ben Duffy
Ben Duffy is a Colorado-based psychotherapist with a master's in Contemplative Psychotherapy and Buddhist Psychology from Naropa University. He works upstream of symptom and story, blending IFS and depth psychology with Buddhist philosophy to walk people toward existential freedom.
Ben is the brother who turned a dark night of the soul into a whole vocation.
He came up through intergenerational trauma in Rochester, got cracked open by psychedelics at fifteen, and walked a self-only spiritual path through depression and anxiety as far as it could carry him. A fasting retreat and a mushroom journey pointed him toward service, and he followed it all the way to a master’s at Naropa, hospice and re-entry work, and a practice that holds trauma as living in the body right alongside its intelligence. What moved me most in our conversation was how he names the turn: the path widens the moment it includes others, and giving is what opens the door.
When someone is ready to meet their own healing with real contemplative depth, Ben is who I’d point them to.
