Iyakuh

Iyakuh never took the mic on camera at SolarPunk Summit, and did not need to. The last programmed set of the summit came through the music: the Iyakuh glyph glowing on the screen above the decks, the floor full under the neon heart, and a steady frequency that let the whole field remember it belonged.

The songs in the set carried one thread. “You were always here, and it was always now. You were never lost, never were alone.” When the music ended, Angel thanked Iyakuh not for the songs but for the beautiful frequency that Iyakuh is.

That frequency is the whole catalogue. Iyakuh makes ambient and organic downtempo music with others, by design, and records some of it on the land itself, like Inikua, sung live in the Tepoztlán mountains at the solstice.

Buy Inikua on Bandcamp, follow Iyakuh on SoundCloud and Instagram, and when the next set comes to your town, be on the floor for it.
