Sierra sings like a prayer that already knows it has been answered. She calls it roots music for the New Earth, and on Fire Night at SolarPunk Summit the whole floor felt what that means.
She gave us ten songs, from We Are The Garden to This Is Me. Trev and Rio came up beside her in white for It’s You, and before Only Thing she asked whether we could hold the pain and the beauty and the perfection all at once. She closed with a hand on every heart, calling every part of us home, because “this planet needs you to be all of who you are.”
What we love in Sierra is that she makes self-love the ground of planetary healing, and then lives it in public. She wrote and produced her debut album herself, sixteen songs released on the summer solstice, with a line that could be her whole mission: “This is me, and I am you.”
Stream This Is Me, bring her to your gathering, or stand with her directly as she carries the album into the world. Every one of those is a way of tending the garden she sings about.
