Ashleigh Hakes is an immersive experience and retreat architect who has helped bring hundreds of experiences to life and has led retreat centers, festivals and conscious communities. She mentors retreat leaders, facilitators, yoga teachers, sound healers and entrepreneurs in designing retreats, workshops and community events, and with Adam DiMarco she co-founded Sacred Explorer, journeys that join travel with sound healing, yoga, breathwork, ceremony and cultural immersion.

Ashleigh carries her whole teaching in the title she gave SolarPunk Summit: Love Is An Experience. She brought it to the main stage on Air Day and again on Water Day, and in between, in the small hours after Fire Night, she sat behind a ring of crystal bowls under the draped tent and played a sound bath for everyone still awake enough to lie down.
About twenty souls rested on the rugs while the bowls sang and the gong waited behind her. She asked them for one more big, long, slow, deep inhale, the biggest breath of the whole day, held at the very tippy top. It was the softest landing a fire night could ask for.
What we love in Ashleigh is that she believes transformation isn’t taught, it’s experienced, and she has spent her life building the rooms where that can happen: retreat centers, festivals, conscious communities, and now the leaders she mentors to hold rooms of their own.
