Ben Holt is a musician who names his work Music Medicine. At SolarPunk Summit 2026 he stood in two circles of the lineup: among the featured music, and among the workshop facilitators with a session called The Way of the King. Before Fire Day's dawn he kept the big fire company with a djembe and his voice.

Tyzen's word on Ben
Ben is a brother of ours from the Lafayette, Louisiana crew, and one of the souls who opened his home to us: he hosted us at The Edge of the World in Costa Rica for our Envision experience.
At SolarPunk Summit we found him where we would have guessed: at the fire. Through the last dark hours of Friday night, Ben sat at the big grate with a djembe under his hands, Derek Abt beside him on guitar, the two of them singing until the sky turned. The next night he was out on the Fire Night floor during David Starfire’s set with a jaw harp, laughing into the lens.
What we love in Ben is that the music is never a performance. It is company, it is medicine, it is how he says what he means.
His own words on The Way of the King are still to come, and we will add them here when he shares them. Until then, follow the music.
