We talked beats, bars, and breakthroughs: a decade making music under different names, an injury to his voice on tour that dropped him into his natural low register, and the steady practice of posting until one video jumped from 1,000 to 30,000 views off the same track. Then it got philosophical, Daoism, psychedelics, the heart and gut as energy centers, before we freestyled live over his beats. What I respect is that he chases truth in the work, so the discipline serves the art.
